Ugo Paoli (1884 - 1963), an Italian, taught at both the high school
and university levels and was also an respected scholar of Latin and the
Ancient World. In addition, he wrote a number of texts for those
learning Latin. His Varius Libellus contains a section of fairy
tales, a number of dialogues, and also a collection of wise sayings from India. Only commentaries, not
texts, are posted below since Paoli's works are still under copyright.
